Good to know before you begin
- Do I need hosting?
- No. You can create and use your Digital Family Home locally without hosting.
- What happens to my source files?
- Supported photos and videos you select remain unchanged. RootsLanding creates exact local preservation copies inside your Digital Family Home.
- What if I stop hosting?
- Your hosted Digital Family Home may go offline, but stopping hosting does not remove the Digital Family Home stored on your computer.
- Does RootsLanding replace a backup?
- No. Keep an independent backup of irreplaceable family materials.
