Supplemental Open-Source
License Terms.
1. Relationship to other terms
These Supplemental Open-Source License Terms supplement the Microsoft Store Standard Application License Terms and any other terms that apply to your use of RootsLanding. They apply only to third-party software distributed with RootsLanding under an open-source license. If these supplemental terms conflict with another RootsLanding term, these supplemental terms control only to the extent necessary to exercise rights granted by the applicable third-party open-source license.
2. Limited exception
Nothing in RootsLanding's terms prohibits reverse engineering, decompilation, disassembly, modification, or related acts solely to the limited extent necessary to (a) debug modifications you make to an LGPL-covered library distributed with RootsLanding, or (b) exercise a right expressly granted to you under an applicable open-source license.
This exception does not authorize reverse engineering or modification of RootsLanding's proprietary code for any other purpose. It does not grant permission to copy, disclose, distribute, or create derivative works from proprietary RootsLanding code; bypass access controls unrelated to exercising applicable open-source license rights; interfere with RootsLanding services; or violate applicable law.
3. Third-party licenses control
Third-party software remains governed by its applicable license. Nothing in RootsLanding's terms limits a right that a third-party open-source license expressly grants or imposes a restriction that the applicable license forbids.
4. Modified builds
RootsLanding does not warrant or support modified libraries or modified packages. RootsLanding may ask you to reproduce a problem with the official, unmodified release before providing support. Make backups before testing modified software with family materials.
